Kieren Myler's renewable energy career began on the off-grid side — designing self-sufficient power systems for homes and small commercial sites where the grid wasn't part of the equation. That apprenticeship in true energy independence — battery sizing, inverter selection, demand-side management without the safety net of the grid — gave Kieren a fundamental understanding of how to design renewable energy systems that actually work for the customer, not just the salesperson. He spent years at Project Solar (UK's largest domestic installer) before co-founding KMM Energy Solutions in January 2023 with Steve Moran — to build a consultancy-first, ROI-focused alternative to volume-led solar. Kieren leads the domestic and farm consultancy side of the business and works directly with customers from first call through commissioning.
