Should EV chargepoints be installed at the same time as solar?
Short answer. Yes — almost always. EV charging from the grid at standard tariffs is expensive; EV charging from on-site solar surplus is close to free. The two systems should be designed together, sized together, and (for fleet) paired with the right tariff and battery integration.
