If you're unsure about staying in your home long-term, think carefully it's a large investment with no guaranteed return on house value. Kieren from KMM was great from the start no pressure selling. gave me time to decide at my own pace. and built a system spec tailored to our current and future usage. Scaffolding: The crew were careful and professional on site, but the lead was reportedly rude to customers over the phone (suspect they use different scaffolders for different areas but worth a note because it wasn't very professional and makes KMM look bad), After they installed roof brackets, I went up myself and found cracked tiles I suspect wouldn't have been flagged — they were replaced once I raised it Don't be afraid to check. Also, 'the guardrail poles were overlapping and clanging loudly in the wind at night I fixed this myself after the installers had left. Scaffolding was up around 3 weeks total (monitoring required before removal) worth warning neighbours in advancer Commissioning electrician: Friendly and knowledgeable. There was a wiring issue with the gateway on the day, but it was fixed quickly the following morning, He followed up afterwards and even offered a free weatherproofing upgrade great customer care. Most frustrating part The DNO approval process for SEG payments. My system was commissioned mid-January and I didn't receive export payments until end of March, I handled the paperwork myself which likely sped things up live heard others wait 6 months. Be prepared for this. Overall, happy with KMM just go in with eyes open on the admin side. Know what you're investing in and how to use it to its maximum, Thanks Kieren, Lewis and Roxanne- Very pleased overall.

I'm just waiting now to see how the next couple months affect my electric bills. I'm really happy with the whole experience. Jon definitely knows his stuff and sticks with you if you have any queries. His dedication to good service is exemplary. Even after completion, Jon still answers my contacts promptly. So many little extra perks and you can tell customer satisfaction is very high on their list. Kieron came round initially to tell us about the process and answer any questions we had in a complete, no pressure environment. From then on remained easy to contact and made sure every step was to our satisfaction. On fitment day, electrician came round early and took pride in keeping everything neat and tidy. 33 Solar panels arrived and was fitted and all completed within the day. Showed us an easy to use app that allows us to track our energy usage. Kieron came back for a visit a few days after to ensure we are on the best energy tariff to make best use of our solar energy. Kieren kept in touch when necessary and before we knew it, the installation day arrived. Scaffolders arrived, nice blokes. Then the installers arrived. With the increase in energy prices over recent years we felt the time was right to investigate solar energy, but did nothing about it! We then met up with KMM reps - James and Ceiron - at a local agricultural show in Nottinghamshire and on an impulse asked them to visit and we bought into the system. The installation was perfect, 13 panels, Fox inverter, Fox battery and an EV charger. There was a high attention to detail throughout, never a hint of "oh well, it'll be alright I guess" The solar panels are exceptional quality for a residence. chilly but sunny day, they generated 13.6 kwh, which is pretty good if you ask me. Finally, once installed there is a follow up meeting to check on the installation. I'm glad we chose KMM to provide this system.

We had Keiran come out to qoute us. He was super informative on the different products, benifits and how to make the most out of the system. Whilst apllying no pressure on the sell. Clearly above and beyond what other supplies had offered us on qoutation stages. Kieran continued to be our point of contact as he manages the project and delivered what I would call a personal and swift experiance. Team that KMM sent out to carry out the work were professional, friendly and courteous. I now have my solar installation and even post 'install Kieran has responded to follow up queries. Got multiple quotes from some of the top hits on Google including the recommended installers from eon and the other well known energy companies. I was referred to kmm by a friend who had recently had an installation. Kieren came out to me and was very knowledgeable. He was probably shocked that I knew what I was talking about as I have been researching solar systems for years, I am a high user of electricity so wanted the maximum amount of panels I could fit on my east to west After measuring up, we sat down and worked out a system that would achieve what I wanted. and I was shown average monthly generation and time to pay back. Like I was with all of the other quotes. Based on the tech that KMM was selling, along with the price and of course the fact that knew someone who had already used them I went with KMM. I arranged with Kieren to have the scaffolding erected 2 weeks before my installation date so that I could get a builder in to remove my chimney below the roofline. I might remove the chimney breast at a later date. This was not a problem and was accommodated. I had my 14kw solar system including large battery installed on Thursday 4th July by a 2 man roof team and a 2 man electrician team, alt of which were pleasant. My bill has gone from E35 to E40 a week to less than 60p, plus all of the export to the grid I will be getting. Due to the time it takes to get the letter from the DNO and enroll with octopus I am not being paid for export yet but I will be soon. If you are thinking about getting solar panels get as many as you can fit on your roof as the majority of the cost is in the installation not the panels. Would I use KMM again, yes. Will be recommending them yes, especially being although they pay E500 per referral.

If you're unsure about staying in your home long-term, think carefully — it's a large investment with no guaranteed return on house value. Kieren from KMM was great from the start no pressure selling, gave me time to decide at my own pace, and built a system spec tailored to our current and future usage. Scaffolding: The crew were careful and professional on site, but the lead was reportedly rude to customers over the phone (suspect they use different scaffolders for different areas but worth a note because it wasn't very professional and makes KMM look bad). After they installed roof brackets, I went up myself and found cracked tiles I suspect wouldn't have been flagged — they were replaced once I raised it. Don't be afraid to check. Also, the guardrail poles were overlapping and clanging loudly in the wind at night — I fixed this myself after the installers had left. Scaffolding was up around 3 weeks total (monitoring required before removal) worth warning neighbours in advance. Commissioning electrician: Friendly and knowledgeable. There was a wiring issue with the gateway on the day, but it was fixed quickly the following morning. He followed up afterwards and even offered a free weatherproofing upgrade — great customer care. Most frustrating part: The DNO approval process for SEG payments. My system was commissioned mid-January and I didn't receive export payments until end of March. I handled the paperwork myself which likely sped things up I've heard others wait 6 months. Be prepared for this. Overall, happy with KMM just go in with eyes open on the admin side. Steve gave us a heads up on what KMM could do for us, listening to our phased approach and agreed to meet with us to discuss our options further We were so impressed with his knowledge and approach, that we booked an appointment there and them Steve is a great guy, very knowledgable and he turned up on the booked day, on time and remembered exactly what we had discussed at the show. We reviewed our options and without any hard selling 'in the least, phase 1 of our Solar journey began. Full stack of 33KW FoxESS batteries and an EV charging unit. (We can now get a clear picture over the coming weeks, so that the next phase of panels and eventual heat pump is scaled properly.) Steve carried out the survey there and then, catted and checked stock levels and booked the engineers, The order was installed by his great engineering team, on the booked day. One of the tidiest jobs Il've seen, and fully operational when they finished. We switched our Octopus power plan the next day and we have now already cut our electriciy bills by 50%.
