Meet The Team
The co-founders hail from Australia so they know a thing or two about the sun, both having been brought up with solar on their properties. So don’t worry, we aren’t here to talk about the cricket! Together they have 15 years’ worth of surveying experience and are passing their knowledge down to the junior surveyors and customers alike.
Kieren was born on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia and was raised on a 10 acre, totally off grid property. His mother, who was a horticulturalist, built a rainforest using native plants, over a period of 30 years.
He has a passion for wildlife conservation instilled from the above experience which led to working in the Australian forestry where he oversaw the planting of over 1.5 million trees. Both natives and pine for the state governments stockpiles and regeneration projects. After moving to the UK, he has worked his way up from a junior surveyor in a large firm to now using his extensive network to better the industry.
Steve was born in the Sunshine Coast in Qld and had a long career in the mining industry. He decided to leave that industry due to the environmental harm it was causing and was driven to provide a better future for his kids to grow up in.
He initially travelled Australia in a caravan for 2 years with his family, whilst also working for a large solar installer as a surveyor, helping Australian homes and businesses switch to solar. Upon arriving in the Uk he has continued this career in surveying and along with Kieren, worked in the largest solar installation company in the UK and between them they have helped thousands of customers and businesses all while having a laugh.
Solar doesn’t need to be confusing and the misinformation and aggressive sales in the industry was the catalyst for Steve and Kieren to create this consultancy!
They still love being on the frontline so you may be lucky enough to see them in your home or business, but if not, rest assured they are constantly working hard behind the scenes on creating the best solutions and service for our valued customers.

We believe in giving back to the local community and this year we proudly helped set up a new football team in Derby, Joga Bonito FC. KMM energy solutions is the main shirt sponsor and assisted by providing all the kit, balls, nets, water bottles etc. This football team is particularly special as its creation was instigated by a group of successful clients of a local drug rehabilitation centre for men, called the Jericho society.
